Services for your patients
013D Areola Restoration
Natural-looking areola and nipple tattooing using customized pigment, dimension, shading, and detail.
Appropriate for patients seeking restoration following mastectomy, breast reconstruction, gender-affirming surgery, or other procedures affecting the appearance of the areola.
02Scar Camouflage
Customized pigment techniques designed to visually soften the appearance of eligible scars by blending areas of color difference with the surrounding skin.
Scar tissue generally needs to be fully healed, stable in color, and no longer changing. Timing varies, so an individual assessment and sometimes medical clearance is important.
03Stretch Mark Camouflage
Customized pigment artistry designed to visually soften eligible stretch marks and create greater continuity with the surrounding skin.
Each patient is individually assessed to determine whether camouflage is appropriate for their skin and treatment area.
The referral process
From referral
to restoration.
- 01
Refer
Provide your patient with Nyra’s contact information or submit a referral inquiry directly.
- 02
Consult
The patient receives an individualized consultation to discuss the treatment area, medical and procedural history, skin readiness, expectations, and treatment goals.
- 03
Assess
The treatment area is evaluated to determine whether paramedical tattooing is appropriate at this stage of healing. Medical clearance may be requested when appropriate.
- 04
Treat
A customized treatment plan is created based on the patient’s skin, anatomy, existing pigmentation, comfort, and desired outcome.
- 05
Collaborate
With the patient’s consent, Nyra can communicate with the referring office regarding treatment readiness, relevant considerations, and continuity of care.
Patient candidacy
Individual skin.
Individual assessment.
Because every surgical site, scar, and patient’s healing process is different, candidacy is determined individually.
In general, the treatment area should be:
- Fully healed
- Stable in color and appearance
- Free from active infection or open wounds
- No longer undergoing significant changes
- Appropriate for tattooing based on individual assessment
When there is uncertainty regarding healing, treatment timing, or relevant medical considerations, medical clearance may be requested before treatment.
